About Poppy Laurel

Adorns Blue Popstar, call name Poppy Laurel, is a blue standard poodle bred by Adorn Poodles from North Carolina.

As a team, we transitioned from showing horses to the American Kennel Club (AKC) and United Kennel Club (UKC) trials.

Within the first two years, we’ve tried about everything but Rally is our favorite together and Poppy’s favorite is Fast CAT!

Named after my Pappy, Laurel (Butch) Keister, and my favorite happy Troll, Poppy fell into our lives unexpectedly, really.

Sharing the same birthday as my nephew, we knew she was our girl. Our breeder was picked out after we fell in love with the breed and our dear friend, Kirsten’s, pack of three standards [two of the three are Adorn Dogs]. A quick flight to North Carolina and Poppy was home September 17, 2021. I haven’t stopped obsessing over her since.
